LOUNGE LIZARD

Loving referred to as “Biltmore”, in homage to Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous hotel located just down the road, this restaurant is a crowd favorite among Phoenix locals. The color palette includes earthy hues like limestone and clay, paired with deep umber tones reminiscent of the red rocks of Sedona. Open horizontal expanses with minimal vertical articulation model vast desert horizons, and an expansive shaded patio with deep club seating invite guests to bask in the warm desert night air.

DESERT SOPHISTICATION

Highlights of the space include custom pendants made of parchment and copper designed with the unique goal of both casting a warm spotlight on the tabletop, while simultaneously creating a luminous glow. Monolithic “Heroic Sunburst” bronze doors set the tone as guests arrive, where they are greeted by a custom metal greeter stand reminiscent of brutalist art and the work of Paul Evans. Hand-selected Navajo blankets, and ceramics by midcentury artisans such as Stan Bitters and David Cressey, punctuate the space with quintessential southwestern flair.
